Hello you and Welcome to my Photography Blog, Freezing My Moments! Thats me with my Nikon DSLR 3100 trying to capture and freeze the moments in my life!
Thank you for having a peek into my world and let me introduce myself to you - I am Lakshmi, a full time working woman and the writer/photographer of this blog. An Indian woman, who grew up in Chennai (India), before I moved on to study and work in various other cities in India. I am currently residing in Malaysia.
I initially started to blog at http://www.thespicyodyssey.blogspot.com, writing my thoughts or easy recipes or my never-ending-travel stories; expressing my journey. However, little later, I realised that pictures say a strong story and allows everyone to associate with the things around you. That’s the start of this blog, freezing my moments from time to time.

Who does not like to pose or click photos? There is a love for posing or taking pictures with your camera in every person in this world. Life is all about freezing those wonderful moments with your family, friends and everyone you meet. There are those times when we are with someone special but we fail to take pictures with them and realise that there are no frozen moments to enjoy later. Yes, it has happened with me a few times. Pictures tell a story of those moments. It frames those emotions and memories.
Having a DSLR with me for the past few years, I have never tried to make the use of it until I started writing for my blog (http://thespicyodyssey.
I started to explore the details of the Manual mode with my camera for the past few months. This was the start to try and experiment on the different looks the same picture can get. A wonderful way to show how I want it to be! Travelling and cooking are like the two faces which helps me to showcase my interest in photography.
